Hi, I’m Sara,

I have over 30 years of experience working with dogs in shelters, rescues, in person, virtual training, and in veterinary hospitals, which has given me the skills and resources to help with many behavioral issues including reactivity, resource guarding, fearfulness, and all the basic puppy training too!

I am a graduate of Catch Dog Training Academy, I am Fear Free Certified, I am a practicing Veterinary Technician, as well as the owner and main trainer at Barkasana.

Meet Gandalf

I’m about to be your best friend and you don’t even know it yet! I love everyone and everything with all my heart and will be your main puppy instructor. I really really really like to eat yummy human food, chase squirrels, and roll in stinky stuff, so we get to work on this cue called Leave It all the time. Don’t worry! I’ll show you in a video! I’m pretty good at it but sometimes I can’t help myself!!!
